Why is the sub menu has a different color than menu items in the menu button not?

Why is the sub menu has a different color than menu button not items - surely that's not an
IE specific feature? The top-level menu items seem to be a different size.
A:
Sub menus has a different color because they have a transparency:
var transparency="90";
Set it to:
var transparency="100";
Sub menus also have larger width than top items because they contains
more text. You can also wrap the text in menu button not. Use
tag between item words.
